President
Julie Thompson

Julie has been a member of TGS since 2004. Julie has been TGS Secretary from 2009 to 2017. Julie has been Show Chair for both TGS and TAVS from 2014-2017. Julie was 2nd Vice President for 2018-2019. She is also Show Chair for TAVGS.

1st Vice President
Sue Smith

Sue has been a member of TGS since 1984. She has held many positions in TGS: 1989-1990 - Secretary;  1997-1998 - 2nd Vice President; 1999-2000 - 1st Vice President; 2001-2002 - President; 2003-2004 - Past President; 2005 - Membership Secretary; In 2015 to the present she became 1st Vice President, although in 2016 she was Acting President.

Brett Flewelling

Brett Flewelling has been a member of TGS since 2004. He has served as show chair for TAVGS since 2019.

Treasurer
Doris Brownlie

Doris has been a member of TGS since 1979. Doris has been Treasurer of TGS since 1995. Doris was Show Chair for the years 2011-2012. She was a Director for TAVS 2007-2014 and treasurer of TAVS and TAVGS starting in 2015 to the present.

Paul Lee

Paul has been a member of TGS since 1998. Paul attained 2nd Vice President position in 2002 and 1st Vice President for 2003-2004, and then as President for 2005-2006. Paul became Past President for 2007-2008, 1st Vice President 2009-2010, and then President for 2011-2012. Paul became Past President from 2013 to 2017. Paul was President for 2018-2019.

Sue Smith

Sue has been a member of TGS since 1984. She has held many positions in TGS: 1989-1990 - Secretary; 1997-1998 - 2nd Vice President; 1999-2000 - 1st Vice President; 2001-2002 - President; 2003-2004 - Past President; 2005 - Membership Secretary; In 2015 to the present she became 1st Vice President, although in 2016 she was Acting President.

Beverley Williams

Beverley has been a member of TGS since 2001. Bev has been a Director for TGS since 2005. Bev was Show Chair in 2013. Bev has been Mini Show Chair since 2008.

Bruce has been a member of TGS since 2001. Bruce has been a Director for TGS and TAVGS since 2015.

Web Advisor and Administrator
Louise Cheung

Louise has been a member of TAVS since 2002 and TGS since 2007. She is a certified AVSA Judge since 2006 and is now a Senior Judge. She is also a Gesneriad Judge since 2009 to 2020. She has held many positions in TAVS:Show Chair from 2007 to 2010, Vice President from 2007 to 2009, Treasurer from 2010 to 2012 and Director from 2010 to 2012. In 2020, she started working as a web developer and is now also the web administrator.

Brian has been a member and web developer of TAVGS since 2023. Brian loves unusual and micro gesneriads.

Doris has been a member of TGS since 1979. Doris has been Treasurer of TGS since 1995. Doris was Show Chair for the years 2011-2012. She was a Director for TAVS 2007-2014 and treasurer of TAVS and TAVGS starting in 2015 to the present.

James Parise

James has been a member of TAVGS since 2021. He has been the Newsletter Editor since 2024, a student AVSA judge, and a student Gesneriad judge. James has a passion for micro miniature Sinningia and leaf chimera African violets.
