The Toronto African Violet and Gesneriad Society is a not-for-profit group whose aim is to share the 'addiction' of African Violets and Gesneriads by fostering interest among its members.
We're not strangers,
only friends you have not met!
The gesneriad family contains over 3,400 species of plants
Perhaps the best-known member of the gesneriad family is the African violet (Saintpaulia)
1 We publish a monthly newsletter except for July and August
2 We have sales tables where members can obtain hard to get plants at very reasonable prices
3 Each meeting we try to educate our members with the latest techniques and products
4 Come and join us for an afternoon of fun, comradery, and education and entertainment
